Data Protection declaration
As per 24/5/2018
We take the protection of your data seriously and inform you on request what data we collect and how we use it. In addition, we have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection in accordance with the Basic Data Protection Regulation (EU DSGVo) in force from 25 May 2018 are observed.
The use of the services on the SECTOR website is generally possible without providing sensitive, i.e. personal data. If the entry of personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses, etc.) is required within the Internet offer, in particular for forms for participation in events, we would like to point out that this data is used exclusively for the processing of organisational processes within the framework of the event (e.g. participant lists, name tags, invoicing, etc.). Your data will be processed by us according to the European data protection regulations, the Federal Data Protection Act BDSG and the Telemedia Act TMG. This means that your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. Other personal data entered via online forms will also be used exclusively for the stated purpose, e.g. to send specific newsletters or to respond to your request. You have the possibility to object to the storage of your data at any time. Please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Communication by e-mail or form
Please note that communication by e-mail or online form can have security gaps. E-mails can be stopped and read by Internet users with extended programming knowledge on their way to the SECTOR Project Manager. If the SECTOR-Team, i.e. an employee of the DBFZ receives an e-mail from you (e.g. via a contact form), it is assumed that we are also entitled to reply by e-mail.
Website analysis using server log files and cookies
The SECTOR website uses Webalizer web statistics. When you access our website, the access data are recorded in a log file (server log file) and stored for security reasons for at least three months and a maximum of six months in order to ensure the general functionality of the services and to be able to trace them in the event of attacks. The following data is stored for each access: IP address of the Internet service provider, time stamp, call method, URL called, protocol, server status response, scope of data transmitted to the inquirer, reference URL, browser specification (type/version), error messages, if applicable.
Personal user profiles are expressly not created; personal data will not be passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. The data from the log file is not merged with any other stored data that may result from the provision of personal data in the context of further offers on this website. When you visit our website, so-called “cookies” are stored on your computer. The information generated by the cookie is made completely anonymous and used exclusively to improve the internet presence and the server.
The server on which our website is hosted is located on the DBFZ. Your stored data is therefore located in Germany and is subject to European and national data protection law.
The use of the contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example in the form of spam mails.
